Hello and welcome!
When I was younger, I remember thinking that college kids had life figured out. As a college kid I can now confirm that nothing could be further from the truth. I keep thinking that I might have it all together when I’m really an adult… But my adult siblings have debunked that myth as well. As I am faced with the reality that no one in this entire world has it all together, I see that my only alternative is to live with the broken pieces as well as I can.
Enter in the phrase “To Walk with Grace.” This phrase has three different meanings to me.
1. To walk with the sufficient grace of God in your grasp.
2. To walk gracefully, with a peace that can only come from knowing your salvation is secure.
3. To walk with grace for others, compassion for their pain, charity for their struggle.
My goal here is to share my thoughts and experiences with you on this journey. As you read each post, know that it is surrounded by parenthetical question marks. I don’t claim to have the answer, but rather a different perspective. There are fundamental truths that shape my beliefs, and those truths are unchanging. However, I would not dare to be so arrogant as to present my pondering as objective truth. Rather, I am trying to find the straight and narrow.
As I walk in the footsteps of my Savior, I am slowly but surely learning to live with peace and walk with grace. My prayer is that you will be inspired to do the same.
